This majestic brooch is a previously owned treasure from the 70s and was acquired by Mara from a private american client.

The gold smith did a meticulous labour by working the gold at its greatest potential. Not only does it comply with an actual eagle but also its movement expressions are extremely powerful.

The wings, head, beak and claws are opened and ready to hatch a pray. The eye is set with a ruby highlighted by two diamonds.

On the body each feather is carefully painted by hand in white and black enamel. This ancient technique gives a glossy and balanced finish.

At the back there is a pin with a mechanism of pin and catch preventing any loss and damage.

The overall condition of this unique piece is remarkable.
